BioOnce there was a little girl who thought that there was something different about her. It worried her. As she grew she became successful at all her endeavors...school, piano, organ, singing, dancing, ballet. She was the freshman class secretary and had major parts in school musicals and dance programs; was on the speech team and had selected friends. She went to college on scholarship... a Marshall Foundation Winner. She took a break from college and married, had children, and went back to graduate in 1992. She was successful in her career. A mental illness forced her to early retirement. Now she does all the things she dreamed of doing at retirement; however, staying stable on meds and therapy are the price she pays. Now she knows why she felt different....but you have to "be there" to understand.
